Research in brief:
Scientific journals have published over 180 studies on rhodiola. In a British clinical trial, 101 people with symptoms of life stress were given 400 mg of rhodiola daily. Symptoms began to improve within three days and continued to show improvement at four weeks. Rhodiola was found to be safe and well-tolerated (Edwards, 2012).

In another study, doctors experiencing the stress of night duty received either a placebo or a standardized extract of rhodiola for two weeks. In the rhodiola group there was a statistically significant improvement in short-term memory, concentration, calculation, associative thinking, and speed of audio-visual perception. No side effects were reported (Darbinyan, 2000).

A placebo-controlled study involving 42 competitive skiers showed that rhodiola helps the body adapt to the stress of physical performance by increasing coordination, strength, and endurance, while shortening recovery time (Brown, 2002).

Research shows that at times of stress, rhodiola reduces fatigue and supports mental and physical stamina.

Recommended dosage:
1–3 capsules daily or as directed by a physician. Not to be taken before bedtime.

Attention :

Do not use if you have bipolar disorder or bipolar spectrum disorders.
